For those of you that don't believe that Finn cries.

Who needs a maid?

Finn successfully put away 75% of his blocks all by himself. We can turn anything into a game. Let's just hope he doesn't figure out how to dump them out anytime soon.

Binky Lover

Finn isn't the biggest Binky baby out there. He loves it when is he really tired and has to have it when going to sleep. Usually, it's just something that just gets in the way of putting other things in his mouth. It has never been a necessity and we have never let it become one.

However, I was informed yesterday at daycare, that Finn is a Binky stealer.

The main lady, teacher, whatever, warned another girl there that if a child is crying, it almost isn't worth giving the Binky to them, because Finn will come and take it out of their mouth, and make them cry even harder.

After Maria (main teacher) left, the new girl turned her back for a second, and sure enough, Finn had stolen Zoe's Binky. The second he noticed his teacher looking at him, he took off running (crawling) with it. Laughing (as much as you can with a Binky in your mouth) as he crawled away. So he KNOWS he is doing something bad.

Long story short, we are in for some trouble.

Flashback Friday - Happy Birthday Ben!

Yesterday was my Hubby's birthday. Thanks Dee Anne for this wonderful, cute boy. I can't imagine my life without him.

This is Ben at about 9 holding his dog Holly. Sweet muscle shirt.

Our Idaho Weekend

Over the weekend we drove up to Boise for our friend, Josh Isaac's wedding.

The wedding was on Friday afternoon in the Beautiful Botanical Gardens. Beautiful. Very low key, casual wedding. I felt overdressed. Probably 50% of the people there were in flipflops.

Finn loved playing on this swing in the gardens.

Saturday morning, we woke up and met up with everyone at the Boise skatepark. After the boys skated for about an hour, we head out to the Boise River to float. We had a group of about 20 and it was VERY cold, but the most fun I've had in a very long time. I only fell off my tube once, and we had no serious injuries. Although there were some close calls. (no pictures)

After the river, the boys skated more, while I went and picked up Finn from Laura's mom's house. I drove back downtown and ate some good Mexican food at Cafe Ole. After gorging ourselves on food, we decided to go to Brandon's parents house up in the mountains to swim. They have a 1600 acre ranch out in the middle of nowhere with an indoor pool and a great diving board. Finn was terrified of the noise and did not want to swim, so Finn and I cuddled while everyone did crazy tricks off the diving board (again no injuries).

The Groom, Josh, is the one doing a dance and showing off his muscles. Pants are rolled up because his legs got VERY sunburned on the float.

Finn on safe ground, not going near the water.

It was hard to say goodbye to everyone and they all got goodbye kisses from Finn. The second we left the driveway, Finn was out!

Fun with Dickerson

Marc and Aubri came up for a whole week to play with us. Although at times we all wanted curl up in a ball and just go to sleep, it was really fun.

We went to the Arts Festival.

Went to Wall-E. Well, I went to half of Wall-E, Finn would NOT sit through it.

Played our favorite Game.

Went to the Zoo. It was the first time I saw the Tiger get into the water.

Finn loved the animals close up.

Cohen was looking at the Crocodiles and I'm pretty sure one of them wanted to eat him. I've never seen the croc's move let alone walk around when I've been to the zoo. This one got up, walked out of the water and walked up inches away from Cohen and just stared at him for minutes, until we walked away. It was pretty sweet.

Drove up to Park City for the 4th of July Parade.

Shot off Fireworks that night on our street and terrified Finn and Oscar. And ate this masterpiece.

Hopefully they aren't too sick of us and will come back soon.

Garage Sale

Last Saturday, my friends and I decided to get rid of our junk and have a garage sale. It was the sweetest garage sale ever, but no one came. Oh well, I made $66 bucks and got rid of a lot of stuff. And had fun sitting around talking to my girls while doing it. (Even if it was 100 degrees)
