Soccer, Mexican Food and Settlers. Nothing is better.

Saturday Teri called last minute to see if we wanted to go to the Real game. We bundled up and headed out. Luckily, we were only there for the 2nd half, because it was cold and the game was a little slow. (They tied)

Finn loved all the people and was such a good sport.

After the game we were in the mood for cheap mexican food. My favorite La Puente. The best and cheapest, cheesey, smothered burrito in town.

By this time Finn was exhausted. Teri makes the best cuddle spots (yes she will be a good mom). Finn slept, while we played a game of settlers. I think Teri won... I seriously can't remember because I was so tired.

Overheard: Volleyball

Her: It is not fun playing volleyball naked.

Flashback Friday - NYC

For our one year anniversary, Ben and I went to New York City. Neither of us had been before, so we did everything.

I just remember one day I was so exhausted and my feet hurt so bad, I just had to sit in the bathtub rubbing my feet for a half an hour.

We flew JetBlue, so we got to NYC early in the morning. We dropped off luggage at The New Yorker Hotel and decided to start off with the Statue of Liberty. It was so hot and clammy and we'd been up basically all night and hadn't showered, which makes everything worse.

So hot, Ben had to roll up his pants. This is probably one of my favorite pictures of Ben ever.

The city.

The coolest homeless guy playing the keyboard, that Ben shot (being very sneaky) as we walked by.

We took the subway all the way to the top of Central Park and walked the entire length. The top was not in the best neighborhood, but in my opinion it had the best garden's of the whole park (at least what we saw).

Bath Time

What started with one kid taking a bath, turned into five kids taking a bath. As each cousin walked in to see what was happening, they started taking their clothes off. After 4 babies were in the bath, I figured I might as well throw Finn in. We all know how much he loves the water.

Thank goodness my parents have a large tub.

Easter Sunday

Sunday afternoon we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for Easter dinner and Easter Egg hunts.

The best Easter Basket ever.

Genius idea of getting all kids in a circle. Not an easy task.

Easter Basket

The Easter Bunny brought one basket for everyone on Sunday. A Mountain Dew for daddy, an Almond Joy egg for Mommy, a singing rat and busy bones for Oscar and big boy spoons and cups for Finn.

Oscar may seem dumb, but he is smart when it comes to toys, he immedietly knew that the rat was for him. And it's been singing a hilliarous song ever since. He also, somehow knew that the bag of candy we had, was Jelly Beans, his favorite.

Choco Face

Friday Ben and his mom brought Finn to go to lunch with me. We got sandwiches and a chocolate chip cookie to share. After giving Finn many different types of food, including Blue Cheese, we tried to give him chocolate. He did NOT want it. He was squirming and sceaming, not knowing how delicous the food he was denying was. Here was the result.

Flashback Friday - Diania and Aubri's Engagement

Honestly, I have no idea what year this is. I'm guessing 2000 - 2001? Aubri?

Before either me or Aubri got married, I went down to St. George to visit her for New Year's Eve... or 4th of July. All I know is there are photo's of fireworks. I think it was New Year's since we have hoodies. Probably New Years right after I got a really nice camera for Christmas. I miss this film camera.

Anyways, we went for a hike just out of St. George and took a bunch of really cute B&W photos of ourselves. I love these pictures.

Here is Aubri's engagement picture, she could have just photo-shopped in Marc a year later. Her pose is picture perfect, cheesiness for a great Utah wedding announcement.

I'm a little obsessed with taking pictures through plants. This started in High School photography. I remember taking a picture of Jordan Stein through a plant during our really productive Fashion Design class... anyways, I'm a little off subject. Here I am with Aubri through a tree.

I can just imaging Aubri saying "be happy, ok now give me angry... good, good"

"Wayne and Yara Selph would like to announce the engagement of their daughter Diania Vivie Dickerson to Aubri Jo Kidd."

Family Party

Nothing really happened over the weekend. Ben was feeling a cold come on and Finn had a runny nose and we didn't want him getting more sick, so we were mellow. Highlight of Saturday, it snowed all day. I'm so sick of snow, I want flip flop weather!

Tonight, my cousin had a 2nd Birthday party for her daughter. All Precia had to say was Panini's and we were there. I didn't get the camera out until the end, so all I have is all the kids gathered around Finn. Finn was the youngest, so he was pretty much the favorite guest at the party. (Sorry Zinnia!)
