After the kids took some naps, we went to a park close by. They have all these old trains that the kids can just run around and play on. Every kids dream. We even got to go on a little mini train ride.

More L.A.
Saturday in L.A. we did a little shopping in the morning. I had to hit up H&M and buy Finn and Dickerson-Baby-No-Name some new clothes. There was a small farmers market at the mall and we bought lots of bread and fruit.

Disneyland
Over the weekend Finn, my mom and I headed to California to visit my sister for a few days.
Finn had been to Disneyland about a year ago, and he liked it, but he wasn't really into all the Disney movies like he is now. HE LOVED IT!
Here are some of my pictures, and a few little stories.

The carousel was the 2nd ride we went on. I'm not sure if Finn had really figured out that there was so much to do yet. We got off and he had the saddest look on his face. He couldn't control his sadness and put his little hands over his face and started crying. While Christina and I went to get the strollers, my mom took Yara and Finn on it one more time.
While my mom took Yara on Splash Mountain, Christina and I took the young kids on the Winnie the Pooh ride. We still finished a little earlier so we were standing around waiting. I looked away for a split second and when I looked down again, Finn had climbed under the rails and cut in front of everyone in line to see Winnie the Pooh. Just waiting patiently.
I picked him up and explained we weren't going to do that right now and he had the most devastated look on his face. The people standing around all said "aww". So we got in line. I'm glad we did, I seriously thought he would get scared and not go up. But he ran up, gave him a kiss (without even being told too).

Next up was Tigger Finn just held on to his leg and wouldn't let go. So happy.

Cute Finn and Ava waiting in line.
Ava trying to go in for the kiss, but got rejected.

Most of the rides, Finn just looked around amazed at everything going on. The Buzz Lightyear ride was the first one where he started laughing a little evil laugh, once he realized what was going on. He loved shooting all the bad guys. We had to buy him the laser gun.
Finn was a little nervous to walk up to Lightning McQueen and Mater. I think he was star struck. But I finally got a good shot and he didn't want to leave. The little boy in front of us, ran back to Lightning and was just holding on to him, while his parents tried to make him leave. So cute.

I didn't realize how much Finn would love this parade. Next time we'll have to wait around and get good seats. He had a hard time seeing everything, but loved what he could see.

It was such a fun day. Finn and the girls lasted so long. I think we were there for about 8 hours. Finn stayed in his stroller sometimes, but other times he was just so excited he had to run around. He was so tired though, we'd be walking around and he'd just drop to his knees in the middle of the sidewalk just to take a little break.
45 seconds in the car and Finn was out. But of course he was not letting go of his gun.

Disneyland
While in California we went to Disneyland. Finn and Ben's first time and my first time since I was probably 14.
First ride we went on was the Jungle Cruise. Finn was pretty nervous especially when the Piranha's jumped out of the water. He was on the verge of crying at any minute. But still loved the animals.

Second up was Pirates of the Caribbean. Finn was still a little nervous and cried a bit when he got wet. But mostly just relaxed and enjoyed the ride.
Didn't see the sign, "No flash photography" until we got out.

Flying through London with Peter Pan.

We almost got Christina to throw up. Sad that the little kids liked going faster than us.

Playing in the Tarzan Treehouse and wishing it was still the Swiss Family Robinson's house.

The Brother Bear camp was probably our favorite place to play.

"Don't take a picture"

Not wanting to go down the stairs.
Finn was TERRIFIED of the bear. He just stared at him backing away slowly. Even as we were walking away, he was looking back making sure he wasn't following us. Yara loved him.

Probably the most boring ride in California Adventure. Not sure what it was called, something Bugs Life or Heimlich, but Finn enjoyed the bugs. He kept saying "bug, eewww gross".

Yara met some friends who loved her while waiting to give our tickets back to our lady. Seriously, we figured out the best way to go to Disneyland cheap. If you ever want to know, ask.
While Finn slept in his fancy new stroller.
I thought for sure Finn would be asleep the whole way back to Christina's in the car. But he was as happy as ever. And cold apparently, look at those cheeks!
