Photo Tag
My cousin Precia tagged me. I am always down for a tag when I need a break from work.
here is how it goes:
1. Go to the document site on your computer
2. go to your 6th file
3. go to your sixth picture
4. blog about it
5. tag six more people

For Christmas I did a Dickerson family calendar for Ben's mom. It turned out amazing. I would highly suggest using Snapfish for photo calendars. So I spent tons of time gathering photos from all the brothers. This is my niece Peyton, Ben's brother David's daughter. Very cute, love her static hair.

Bigger Owie!
Saturday night while we were playing games at Teri and Mark's house, Finn decided to throw himself face first off the couch. Face first into a wooden box. Poor little guy was screaming and crying and there was blood everywhere. Very scary at first, pretty sure my heart stopped. After a few minutes we found the tiny cut on his lip and he stopped crying. The sad thing about this, is that it happened just a few hours after him banging his eye on a corner at my parents house.
I was actually expecting both injuries to swell up much worse than they did. Kids are so resilient and amazing. But he does look much worse in person than in photos.

The mouth injury hadn't bothered Finn too much until yesterday after his nap. I went to get him and out of excitement, he threw his hands on his face to play peek-a-boo. Smacked himself right on the lip. After that we had about an hour of sadness, him being frustrated that his bitty hurt and him not wanting to eat.

Birdies!!
Saturday was beautiful and sunny. We decided we needed to do something to enjoy the day and get rid of our winter blahs. Courtesy of a buy one get one coupon, we headed downtown to the Tracey Aviary. Neither of the boys had ever been there and I hadn't gone in years. Finn loved (and so did we) the birds. I'm excited to go back in the spring and enjoy all the old beautiful trees and hopefully some baby goosies.
