Colorado / Oklahoma / Texas

Three weeks after Ridley was born, we packed up the family and headed to the Mid-West for some family time.

Road Trip!

First stop was Colorado with Marc and Aubri's family. We stayed at Uncle Gary's cabin for three nights. It was gorgeous up in the mountains. We rested, stayed up late talking, shopped, ate and played.

Here are a few shots from the Pirate Ship playground.

Next we headed to Bartlesville, OK to stay with Grammy (Ben's grandma) for a few days. Didn't do much, it was SO hot. But we had a great time bonding with family and showing off Ridley. One night we braved the heat and went to Kiddie Park for some sweet (and probably unsafe) rides.

And, the Tulsa Aquarium.

For the last leg of the trip, we hopped in the car again and drove down to Dallas, TX for a family reunion / Grammy's 90th Summer party. We played at Gary's beautiful house and kids (and grown ups) played all day in the pool. And, I don't think we ever stopped eating.

Rex Family Fun

Over the 4th of July weekend we had a Rex family reunion at Brian Head. Even though I was about a week away from having a baby, we had to go. We have too fun of a family to miss a big event like this.

We stayed up way too late playing games and talking and played way too hard all day. Family history skits, a pinata (I'm surprised no one got hurt), food and fun. Of course I mostly just sat around and watched.

We are so lucky to have such an amazing family and I can't wait for the next one.

I didn't really take any photos, but I stole some.

Adam and Kristins Wedding

May 15th was Adam and Kristin's wedding in Escalante, UT. One of my most favorite places in the world. Beautiful, perfect weather and beautiful surroundings, make for the most beautiful wedding.

Waiting for the bride.
So happy.
Sunburned and pregnant me.

A few of the guests.
This is where Finn spent 95% of his time. This place is any boy's dream.

Trying to get a picture of all three of us looking at the camera. Did not happen.

Heading home. A crazy beautiful drive.
