Tonight Ben was showing Finn his scrape on his elbow he got skating.
Finn: "Dad, did you go to the zoo and get bitten by an alligator?"

Poor Ridley
Last week we went to a Christmas party at Gorgoza Sledding hill in Park City. The next day Finn was telling his teacher about the great time he had sledding.
Miss Bree: "Did Ridley go sledding too?"
Finn: "No, he stayed in the car."
Luckily the teacher realizes that not everything coming out of a three year old's mouth is the truth.

Ridley's 13 Week Milestones
This past week has been huge for Ridley. A few days ago he started laughing, not just a little sigh laugh, but really laughing. And he is VERY ticklish.
Then while doing some tummy time, which he hates, (don't all babies?) he rolled over! Several times. Once he did it once, it was so simple for him and he did it over and over again. We did get it on video, but we can't figure out how to get the video off Ben's iPhone, so it might not appear up here for awhile.
Yeah for milestones!

Finn answers a long standing mystery
Diania: "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood?"
Finn: "Three"
Finally, someone figured it out..

Ridley's Three Months
Here is our smiley three month old!

The last three months have flown by. Ridley is the cutest three month old. So smiley and happy. Most of the time. He still gives an hour or so a day of crying for no reason. But after being cuddled and loved he usually calms down.
He still hates baths. Finn loved the water and baths by this age. Ridley starts screaming before he even touches the water.
Ridley is getting so squishy and chubby. Best rolls on his legs, arms and neck. He is just so kissable.
Basically he just sits there and smiles most of the time. He can't do much else. We are trying to get him to roll over, but he hates tummy time so much and just cries and screams.

Hello?
I've been out of the blogging game for a while. I've been busy staring at a seriously cute baby. I'll be playing catch up over the next few days so bear with me.

Colorado / Oklahoma / Texas
Three weeks after Ridley was born, we packed up the family and headed to the Mid-West for some family time.
Road Trip!

First stop was Colorado with Marc and Aubri's family. We stayed at Uncle Gary's cabin for three nights. It was gorgeous up in the mountains. We rested, stayed up late talking, shopped, ate and played.
Here are a few shots from the Pirate Ship playground.

Next we headed to Bartlesville, OK to stay with Grammy (Ben's grandma) for a few days. Didn't do much, it was SO hot. But we had a great time bonding with family and showing off Ridley. One night we braved the heat and went to Kiddie Park for some sweet (and probably unsafe) rides.

And, the Tulsa Aquarium.

For the last leg of the trip, we hopped in the car again and drove down to Dallas, TX for a family reunion / Grammy's 90th Summer party. We played at Gary's beautiful house and kids (and grown ups) played all day in the pool. And, I don't think we ever stopped eating.
