New Nephew! Gavin Dee Dickerson

Marc and Aubri had Gavin on Sunday morning at 1am. Aubri didn't realize she was in labor until it was too late, so Marc delivered the baby! Her labor maybe lasted a whole 5 minutes.

He is really tiny, 6lbs 2oz and I think he is really cute, and I can't wait to cuddle with him this weekend.

Logan Skatepark

After lunch, Ben wanted to skate the Logan Skatepark. It was perfect weather and Finn loves being outside.

Saturday was Ava's baby blessing in Logan. After the blessing everyone went to the park for lunch.

Big Boy Post - Finn is Ten Months Old!!

Our little boy is almost a year old. Crazy how fast time goes by. He seriously changes daily. New noises, facial expression and movements.

He is a super army crawler. He'll get up on his knees and hands and rock back and forth.... and drop down to his elbows and legs. Then he'll GO! His poor little wrists and legs are so red from rubbing the carpet so much.



Finn loves Oscar. Oscar will constantly bring Finn toys and he will play tug-o-war with him, until Oscar finally wins. For some reason Finn has a fascination with all of Oscar's gross toy, especially his nasty nylobone. I'm just waiting for the day Finn starts screaming of pain, because he stuck his hand in Oscar's mouth trying to pry the bone out. Oscar is really great with him and tries to be as gentle as possible. Somehow Oscar knows which toys are Finn's and mostly stays away.

Of course Finn's favorite words are MAMAMA and DADADA (although I don't think he knows what they mean), but he lots of new words and noises too. Like when he sees us eating big people food, he smacks his lips and crawls on over. He really likes everything we've given him and hopefully he won't get pickier as he gets older.

Not sure how big he is, but I know he is much bigger than most of the other babies out there his age. He is probably around 26 pounds.

He still only has two bottom teeth, but we are expected top teeth to make an appearance sometime soon, he's had some crabby nights lately.. so I think that is the issue.

One more cute thing he does is kisses. He is great open mouth, pure tongue kisser. He loves giving kisses, even to baby dolls, but he gets a little upset when he gets no reaction out of them.

Girls and Babies Birthday Party

Wednesday night, the girls felt bad I was spending my birthday alone, so they came out to Daybreak and brought Z Pizzeria.

It was great to sit around with the girls and chat. Food was so good, I ate way too much. And I finally got to show off my cute house and neighborhood.

We wanted Paddy and Finn play, but Finn was very grumpy. The only happy part of Finn's night was bathtime, (which was the worst part of the night for Patrick) or when Natalie and Teri were stuffing him full of vanilla ice cream.

New Wagon

We got a new wagon for Finn. After what seemed like hours putting it together, we made a sweet comfy ride for him, and cruised around the block. He absolutely loved it. It is big enough to throw Oscar in too, but he was not having it.

Flashback Friday - Babymoon

A few months before I got pregnant, Ben and I decided we needed to go on one last vacation alone before we started having kids. It was all last minute, but we decided to go on a cruise to the Western Caribbean.

Some of our stops: Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, Belize, and one other place I can't remember. It wasn't my favorite cruise, I really prefer Eastern Caribbean, but it was still nice. I'm not a fan of Mexico at all, but I loved Play del Carmen, it was beautiful.

Anyways, I am DYING for a beach vacation, so I thought these pictures would cheer me up... but really they just make me more depressed.

Crawling Babies

Saturday was Soren's baptism. After the baptism, we let the kids run wild in the gym. Finn is still getting the hang of crawling which was even harder for him on the slippery floor. Emmie is all over the place and was tackling Finn. She would climb on him and smash his face down into the floor. You can tell she already knows how to defend herself from Mckenzie.

The Hogle Zoo

Saturday morning we decided to go to the zoo with my sister Christina. It wasn't too crowded and it was beautiful weather.

Finn actually noticed and liked the big animals like the elephants and giraffes. My favorite was the baby giraffe. I wish I could have seen it when it was brand new and tiny, but it was still really cute.
