20 Weeks and Counting.....

I'm 20 weeks pregnant today. Only half way there! I know that 40 weeks will be here in no time, but right now it seems like it's taking forever.

The pregnancy hasn't been that bad, I shouldn't really complain, but I do, because I'm a whiner.

I'm not as tired this time around, but I did feel more nauseous in the 1st trimester. My stomach is doing pretty good now, unless I have to change a poop, do nasty dishes or empty a garbage can. Or if we are fortunate enough to have Oscar throw up.

Luckily, I have an amazing husband that does these things for me when he can. I think he just hates hearing me dry heave / throw up.

I've been much more anxious this time around to find out what I'm having. I think I'm just ready to get my house in order and set up the crib. We find out Monday and hopefully they will be able to tell. If not I might need some donations to go find out at the mall or something to keep my sanity.

So that is my update. Mostly for me, not you.

Finn Says "Sten Bears"

Finn's newest TV addiction Berenstain Bears. Funny how he goes through stages of different shows he loves. It will be Yo Gabba Gabba one week, Thomas another week and WordWorld the next.

I guess there are worse things he could be watching. And its only about 10 minutes long so that is a plus.

Living Planet Aquarium

Over the weekend, Finn needed to get out of the house so we headed over the aquarium. Finn loved it, of course. And I loved petting the stingrays.

And Ben took a million pictures, and some of them are pretty cool, so I'm posting them all. Enjoy.

Underwater shot of the stingray. We love our waterproof camera.

Sledding

We finally took Finn sledding. We have a perfect little, but fast, hill less than a block from our house. We went 2 days in a row actually because we had so much fun.

So fast, you can barely see him....

Trying to get a good shot of Finn, smiling and with eyes open is nearly impossible.

Christmas Morning

This year was by far the best with Finn on Christmas. He loved every single present he got, and played with each one for several minutes before realizing there was more.

I can't wait until next year when he can get excited about it beforehand. This year when people would ask him what Santa was going to bring him, he would simply reply "STOCKINGS". Finally as we got closer, he figured out that in the stocking there would be candy and toys. I don't think he could understand the other presents just appearing out of nowhere. At least he could see the stocking hanging.

Favorite toys of course are his Lightning Mcqueen racetrack and some puzzles. But overall, I think Santa chose well this year.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we all went to my parents ward building to wear the kids out a little bit before cramming everyone into a house.

We did crafts, played games, talked and attempted to do the nativity story. Although with several toddlers running around, it was little chaotic.

Then we headed over to my parents house for an amazing dinner, to open presents play more games.

Finn and Emmie were caught kissing in my parents room.

Big Boy Post - Pee in the potty!!

I know we are still very far from having Finn be potty trained. But yesterday was a huge milestone. He peed in the potty at school.

He still hasn't done it at home, even though we've tried, I think we need to get a tiny toilet for him. If you read this, let me know what worked for you. I think I want to get the attachment with the smaller seat to go on the big seat.

Halloween

For Halloween we just took Finn around the neighborhood with the neighbor boys Griffin and Easton.

Finn loved it this year. There were a few scary houses he would not go near and would yell out in fear warning Griffin and Easton to stay away.

A few nights later we went for a walk and Finn kept asking "treat?"
